Your New Skill

Sort My Inbox

Your inbox does not need more folders.

It needs one Claude CoWork skill that sorts everything into:

  • NOW (must act today)

  • LATER (matters, but not today)

  • NEVER (archive / unsubscribe / ignore)

Download the Sort My Inbox skill file in Google Drive:

Step #1

Plug it in

  1. Open Claude Desktop

  2. Click Customize

  3. Click the Skills tab

  4. Click the + button

  5. Choose Upload a skill

  6. Select the skill.md file you downloaded

You should now see Sort My Inbox in your Skills list.

Step #2

Run it

Go back to Claude CoWork and type:

sort my inbox using only my first 10 emails

If it asks you what counts as NOW / LATER / NEVER, answer in plain English.

Example:

  • NOW = boss, customers, deadlines today

  • LATER = this week, follow-ups, tomorrow

  • NEVER = promos, newsletters, FYIs

If Claude sorts something wrong, you can tell it to undo the last action right inside CoWork.

Try typing:

  • undo what you just did

  • put everything back the way it was

Step #3

Customize it

You can tighten the sorting based on your own rules…

Examples:

NOW

LATER

NEVER

emails from Bob

follow-ups

Promos

customers

emails from Elon

deadlines this week

Stop. Breathe. Automate.

If too much ends up in NOW…make NOW stricter.

If too little ends up in NOW, make NOW broader.

BONUS

Want to automate it?

  1. Type (Schedule) in Claude CoWork

  2. Choose a time you want this skill to run (ie. 4:30pm)

  3. How often (ie. Every weekday)
